Plum Spooky (Stephanie Plum Between-the-Numbers Novels, book 4) by Janet Evanovich
I could totally go with Stephanie, Lula and Grandma, but monkeys, global weather control and characters with powers are too much. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Jan 09, Erica Goulding rated it it was ok. You know it’s good when you get to the end and you slow down to make it last and then when you see the last words you feel sad because you know it’s going to be awhile before you get to read what happens with the characters you are so fond of.
I read an interview Evanovich did a couple years ago, saying that her fans would kill her if she ever stopped writing about Stephanie, or had Stephanie finally choose once and for all, Morelli, or Ranger? Unlike other between-the-numbers books in this series, this book didn’t have a strong tie to a holiday, usually referenced by the title. Want to Read Currently Reading Read. This time Evanovich fans rejoice! Apr 29, Tricia rated it it was ok Shelves: There are the usual disasters with Plum’s vehicles, a mini tempest between Lulu and Tank, her cat loving boyfriend, car chases, explosions, food fights, monkey experiments, barium, rockets and a plot to control the weather.
Plum fans will certainly be thrilled with Evanovich’s latest. According to Stephanie’s file Hart stole a necklace from a pawn shop owned by Stanley Cramp and shot him in the foot. And, somehow whenever Diesel is around Morelli is only available by phone. Jan 02, Toocrazycosmoyahoo.
I about keeled over laughing when she kicked Munch in the munchkins. Can this book be read by itself without a lot of external references???? I really don’t care for the Stephanie Plum between the novel books.
Hopefully 14 and Spooky were just duds and things will pick jabet again. It’s fun drama, cute romance and a good time. The whole Sasquatch, Jersey Devil and Easter bunny not to mention the flame the between the numbers books are never as good as the real deal.
My favorite part of this book: I feel disappointment that this once great series will never be allowed to evanovicu, change, age Thanks for telling us about the problem.
Next we’re off to Salem for wicked stuff. If you have not read Evanovich books before, they are about Stephanie Plum, who is a sexy babe who works for her cousin as an inept Bounty Hunter, her partner, Lulu, an ex-ho who is a big beautiful women, but who favors tight spandex clothes, and a cast of various refugees from a bad movie, who are the criminals who have ran off on their bonds, that Stephanie must apprehend.
He’s saved her from some jams, but she can never find him; he just appears. Thanks for stopping by. Join in the discussions! It was silly, beyond belief and completely unbelievable. I could actually picture the monkeys with the Ohhhhhh that was a good book.
I have to agree with so many other reviewers that this was one of the best between the numbers books kanet the Stephanie Plum series. I used to love the Plum books, don’t know what happened to JE. As a rule I haven’t enjoyed the “Between the Numbers” books as well as the original series and that rule continues to hold true. Evanovich keeps it rolling right along, and this train is full speed ahead.
There’s not enough Morelli or Ranger in the book.
